Punjab National Bank to hire 775 Management Trainees In JMG Scale-I

Punjab National Bank (PNB), is now the second largest state-owned commercial bank in India well before Bank of Baroda with about 5000 branches across 764 cities.

Punjab National Bank is hiring 775 vacancies for management trainees in the probationary officers/junior management grade (JMG) scale-I across the country.

The bank has specified that candidates with at least 60 percent marks within their graduation, working knowledge of MS Office and a total weighted standard score of 138 in the common written exam carried out by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) are eligible to apply. There is some privilege for SC, ST, PWD and OBC. You will get detailed information from the official announcement.

The bank stated that only those candidates who rank enough high in the order of merit will be called for a Personal interview. The interview will likely be for 100 marks and the minimum essential for getting qualified for the interview is 40 marks.

The tentative period of the interview will be between April and May 2012.

The minimum age requirement is 20 years while the maximum is 28 years. Applications have been invited online and are open from January 30. The last date for registration of online applications is February 12, 2012.
